        These features comprise the lion’s share of our app’s experience, so allowing for easy access to these features was a priority of ours in the design process.

        Our aim is to keep it simple, clean, and focused for our users, only adding features to the app if we determine our users would find it useful.

​

        Features such as the Sleep Tracker don’t need to be overly complex, and taking a simple approach to designing it makes it easier for the end-user to just set it up and forget.

 

        In order to enable the user to navigate to any part of the app, from any part of the app, we decided to use a hamburger menu in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This enables the user to achieve our navigation goal with only two taps.
